Initial D is a Playstation one racing game based on the manga & anime series, the story mode of the game covers events from Takumi's beginnings with plain tofu runs, to Team Emperor's arrival in the Gunma prefecture.
There are 3 mountain passes in the game as well as 3 unlockable circuit courses. The circuits are made available by completing the game's mission-based 'D-CHECK' mode in which your objective is to clear certain parts or 'Akina' as cleanly and fast as you can.
