The Rainbow Phonics Pre-K School Kit is designed to give your entire school the best start into our phonics program.
The Rainbow Phonics Teacher Planner for Pre-K provides lesson plans for introducing our program, focusing in detail on the seven aspects of Phase 1. These are: environmental sounds, body percussion, rhythm & rhyme, alliteration, voice sounds, oral blending and segmenting.
A selection of Fiction and Non-Fiction Phase 1 pre-readers have been included in this kit. The school kit features multiple copies of the Teacher Planners and also multiple copies of our 12-Book Decodable Reader Sets to supply an entire school at Pre-K.

The Rainbow Phonics program by Junior Learning and Beanstalk Books is a systematic synthetic phonics (SSP) program designed for children in Pre-K to Grade 2 (Phases 1 to 6). It includes a progression of Common Exception Words (also termed Heart Words or tricky words) alongside letter progression, allowing children to encounter words with different spelling patterns but similar phonemes. Our program has the largest collection of decodable readers and supplementary resources – all following the progression.
